Who are CaFHS and what do they do?
"The first five years are very important for lifetime development as this is when the brain and body grow rapidly. From the first weeks after birth through to starting school, children develop rapidly, physically, emotionally, socially, and in how they learn about the world around them.
Regular health and development checks are recommended for all babies and young children, which are designed to support families in these important early years. They provide a chance to pause, reflect on your child’s growth, health, development and wellbeing, and talk with a CaFHS nurse about what you’re seeing at home."
How can we help?
At First Choice Early Education Centre, children have the opportunity to see a CaFHS nurse on site. When these visits occur, families are notified and can attend with their child or if it's a day your child attends care, one of their educators can attend with them.
If you have any concerns or would like to see a nurse at anytime, CaFHS provide health checks at 5 Heriot Street, Mount Gambier 5290 SA. To book an appointment call 1300 733 606
